Carrie Iverson on glass...

Once again the brain trust at Bullseye has brought an amazing artist in to demo and discuss unique works in glass. Carrie Iverson presented her beautiful images in print at the more than packed BE resource center this weekend which I was fortunate to have the opportunity to attend. As someone who works in the printing industry I was extremely excited by Carrie’s litho background and her innovative techniques for utilizing simple xerox prints to transfer images. And as always, the artists who speak at BE seem to defy the modern stereotype of aloof gallery folk, never ceasing to amaze me with their openness and friendly demeanor.
