Though I love all animals, I have a special place in my heart for our canine companions, particularly those of the Greyhound persuasion. When the opportunity to take my kiln glass hobby to the next step presented itself, I knew. I didn't just want to run a small business, I wanted to DO something more, something to make a difference in the world. So, inspired by the birth of my baby girl and a mother’s innate desire to make her world a better place, I conceived a plan. A project really... Project Pendants for Pooches was born! Initially we will be opening an Etsy Store to sell our pendants directly to the public. Each pendant is 100% made in Oregon with Bullseye Glass and my native Portland flare. Pendants will include a cable style choker for your immediate enjoyment, however they are most fun if you swap them onto your favorite necklace! How does this help the Pooches?20% of all artist proceeds from direct sales of glass pendants though our Etsy store and local merchants (sale price – materials/shipping/taxes) will be donated quarterly to my favorite greyhound rescue organization in honor of my late great greyhound Trixie: |
